The result of this is an inappropriate hearth function ,obstruction of the bloodflow.

The causes of cardiomyopathy include genetic predisposition, infections, toxic causes (drugs and chemical compounds), specific dietary insufficiencies, and unknown causes.

A Cat with HCM may display no symptoms at all.

They can die suddenly and unexpected.

Some cats get symptoms

  • Lethargy
  • Anorexcia
  • Weight Loss
  • Heart Murmur.
  • Decreased activity
  • Lameness or paralysis of the back legs.
  • Gagging
  • Rapid and noisy breathing
